Deepika Padukone walks for Farah Khan Ali at India International Jewellery Week 2010.

Model-turned-Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone who was the showstopper for popular jewellery designer Farah Khan Ali at the inaugural India International Jewellery Week (IIJW), in Mumbai on Sunday.

“I would now announce the showstopper. She is beautiful, warm and a stunner. She is none other than Deepika Padukone. Thank you babe” said Farah, who showcased her collection on the opening day of the jewellery week.

The five-day IIJW, hosted by Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council of India (GJEPC), will see collections from a melange of 30 designers, including Farah Khan Ali, Varun D. Jani, Bina Goenka and Rhea Nasta. Well-known jewellery brands like Mirari, Gitanjali, Amrapali, Tanishq and Ganjam will also participate in it.
